本論考は、知的障害者の入所施設を改修・一部増築するプロジェクトを通して、生活が建築空間の設計と切り離して考えられないことを明らかにしようというものである。建築空間を検討することが、「当たり前」とされていた施設での生活やケアのあり方を再考することに繋がり、さらにはこの再考により、建築空間の設計も変わっていった。プロジェクトの過程を紹介しながら、生活と建築空間の相互作用を明らかにしたい。
This paper attempts to clarify that life cannot be considered in isolation from the design of architectural space through a project to renovate and partially expand a residential facility for the intellectually disabled. While introducing the process of this project, I would like to clarify the interaction between life and architectural space.
